The process of web development is complex and unique to each client.

However, there are always some core elements involved that allow us to generate a better understanding of the client’s needs, operations, and unique characteristics and make the web development process as efficient as possible.

The goal is to understand what makes our clients stand out and translate these insights into a first class website with a strong user experience that will make users satisfied, willing to take desired actions on the page, and coming back for more.

Most important web development stages – how we do it

1. Client interviews

The first, and most important step in the web development process is to kick things off with a discussion.

During this stage, we want to learn as much as possible about the client and their business, including what their goals, mission, and values are, and who their target audience is.

2. Market research

Next, we conduct market research to evaluate how our client stacks up against its competitors.

This analysis allows us to understand what unique propositions other companies offer customers. These are insights that are integral for understanding where and how our client can compete, and which guide business growth and customer relationship development plans.

3. Brainstorming

Once we have a concrete understanding of the client’s business and the industry they operate in, we go to the drawing board and begin brainstorming.

During the brainstorming process, we put our heads together to answer some important questions including:

  • What the overall strategy and approach should be,
  • What an appropriate timeline is,
  • What the priorities of the client are if we should create an entirely new website or redesign their existing one,
  • And what elements this website should include.

Once our experts come up with some ideas, we share these proposals with our client, and we collaboratively decide on the final deliverables and strategies involved.

4. Creative work

After we have agreed on a brand development strategy, we start translating this vision into a reality.

During this process, we develop wireframes, UX/UI interfaces, descriptions of  user interactions and experiences.

This is also a time for us to produce the content, having in mind it should be well-aligned with their communication strategy, catchy, and engaging, but also properly optimized for SEO to assure they win search rankings and thus increase organic traffic.

Then we think about animations, slides, responsiveness, sound effects, and finalize the graphic layout.

In the last step, we proceed to the development stage.

5. Testing

During the final stage, we test the website product.

The testing process provides us with valuable insights on how the website behaves on various screens (multiscreening experience), what the user journey is like, and how the user experience varies depending on the device and screen. We also conduct client interviews during this stage to understand how they perceive the website.

Once the website goes live, user journeys begin

After the five stages described above, we arrive at our favorite part of the process.

The expected deliverable is up and running, and is ready for the world to see. This final product reflects the in-depth knowledge we have accumulated on the client, including what we have learned about their operations and their audience engagement strategies. The website also reflects the results of our personalized process and our technology-based approach.

See one of the recent websites in our portfolio, distinguished by its minimalist design and innovative but user-friendly navigation features.
